IMPORTANT CONTEXT

Measurements are evidence—not certainty.

What Trendline can responsibly describe, and where its interpretation stops.

Not medical care

Trendline does not diagnose a condition, evaluate safety, recommend calorie intake, prescribe treatment, or replace a physician, dietitian, or other qualified professional.

Weight is variable

Timing, hydration, food, waste, clothing, and device conditions can affect readings. A trend can reduce the influence of individual observations but cannot remove every source of error.

Composition is estimated

Many consumer scales estimate body composition using bioelectrical impedance and proprietary equations. Hydration and other conditions can alter those estimates. Use consistent conditions when possible and interpret long-term patterns cautiously.

No tissue attribution

A change in scale weight or body-fat estimate does not establish exactly how much fat, muscle, water, or other tissue changed. Trendline avoids making that claim.
